World’s Fair Pavilion in Forest Park is the venue for the Saturday afternoon dance! Forest Park is a beloved St. Louis landmark harboring a zoo, history museum, art museum, science center, and so much more. The park’s founders highlighted a vision where "the rich and poor, the merchant and mechanic, the professional man and the day laborer, each with his family and lunch basket, can come and enjoy his own ... all without stint or hindrance ... and there will be no notice put up to 'Keep off the grass.'" The Casa Loma Ballroom is the venue for our Saturday night dance! It’s a historic ballroom on Cherokee Street, in a culturally rich neighborhood that many local dancers frequent. There are several great spots to eat nearby to fuel before dancing including pizza and authentic mexican food. Here are some helpful details:

  • Street parking is available.

  • A flight of stairs to the dance floor, with a second flight of stairs to access the balcony and restrooms.

  • A bar is available with snacks, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages including water.

  • The balcony area serves as a quieter space and this venue’s Sensory Break Zone.

lucas schoolhouse

Lucas School House is the venue for the Sunday afternoon dance! This building is a historic venue in St. Louis, with beautiful brickwork that demonstrates how St. Louis got the nickname “Brick City.” Here are some helpful details:

  • Street parking is available.

  • There are three steps into the building, and a flight of stairs to the second floor where the dance will take place.

  • The first floor will remain vacant and available as Sensory Break Zone.

  • There are bathrooms on both the first and second floors.

  • Water will be available.

central studio

Central Studio is the late night venue for both Friday and Saturday! This venue is near the Delmar Loop, a lovely walkable entertainment district with lots of shopping. Consider checking it out during the daytime for spots like Subterranean Books, Vintage Vinyl, and the St. Louis Walk of Fame. Here are some helpful details about Central Studio:

  • Street parking is available and there is a small lot in the back.

  • This venue is wheelchair accessible.

  • The pilates studio in the front of the building and the courtyard outdoors in the back will serve as Sensory Break Zones.
