Brand new to swing dancing? Our 100 level is here to teach you all the basics, no partner or experience required!
Our full beginner track consists of 3 different series that rotate monthly, designed to give you a foundational understanding of Lindy Hop and Charleston. Each series consists of 3 to 4 classes.
Beginner 101 - 6-count Lindy Hop
Beginner 102 - 8-count Lindy Hop
Prerequisite: Completion of Beginner 101 or knowledge of 6-count Lindy Hop
Beginner 103 - Charleston Basics
Our 101 and 103 series are the perfect place to start your journey! Not sure if you want to commit to a whole month of classes? Our 101 and 103 series offer a first class only drop-in for $15.

Our 200 level series are perfect for the intermediate Lindy Hopper looking to expand their fundamentals or for those who have completed our full 100 level track (Beginner 101/102/103).
Our instructors will focus on making you a well rounded Lindy Hopper - introducing new moves and vocabulary, exploring musicality, and growing your confidence as a dancer!

Our 300 classes are for intermediate/advanced dancers looking to take their Lindy Hop to the next level.
These classes are either drop-in style with rotating topics or consist of office hours where our instructors can help you meet your practice goals.
Attending 300 level drop-ins requires prior instructor approval. If you’d like to attend a drop-in or have questions about which level would be best for you, please reach out to us via email at rivercityswingout@gmail.com or send us a message on our socials.

Our Learn to Dance in a Day workshops are the perfect way to learn how to swing dance in just an afternoon!
In this 2-hour beginner class, our instructors will teach you Lindy Hop basics and get you moving and grooving on the dancefloor - no partner or prior experience required!
We host LDD workshops every few months, so keep you eyes peeled for the next one!

Take whatever classes you feel you’ll be the most successful in. Instructors may approach you with advice for moving to different classes.

If you are going to miss a class, please reach out to the RCSO team via email to let us know!
If you are missing a Series class, we encourage you to continue attending the remaining classes to the best of your ability.
If you are missing a Drop-In, you can attend a different Drop-In of the same $ value. Contact the RCSO team to coordinate details.

We try our best not to cancel classes, but holidays and emergencies happen. If class is canceled, we’ll contact you as soon as possible and refund your class.
