We welcome you back to the historic Lucas Schoolhouse on Saturday, December 6 for another evening of classes and social dancing featuring the sweet sounds of The Showboat Jazz Collective!
Our beginner class before the dance will take you from walking around the room to dancing around the room in just an hour–no partner or experience required! Already know the basics? Add some fun new moves to your repertoire with our intermediate class featuring Brent Hrebec and Patricia Goettler. Looking for some celebratory libations? We’ll have a cash bar available!
Year End Dance: Saturday, December 6

Beginner Class + Social Dance ($30 per person)
Intermediate Class + Social Dance ($30 per person)
For those comfortable with 6 and 8 count Lindy Hop or who have completed our complete beginner series (101, 102, & 103)
Social Dance Only ($15 per person)
SHOULD I LEAD OR FOLLOW?
Choose your own adventure! Swing dancing is a partnered dance and everyone’s voice plays a unique role. Leads generally initiate movement or an idea for followers, who then respond with their own interpretation.
DO I NEED TO BRING A PARTNER?
You’re welcome just as you are! We rotate partners frequently throughout class, so you’ll have a chance to meet lots of cool people. If you are coming with a partner and prefer not to rotate, let an instructor know at the beginning of class.
